No sealing needed to remove the paper backing.
White is opaque and need to be trimmed very close around the edge to hide the white border or be placed on a white background.
Clear is transparent (the backing and the ink), no need for close trimming and looks best on a white or light background.
Clear for dark surface has been printed with a white base layer so it can be placed on a darker surface.
